Questions & answers
Good to know
Common questions about size, privacy, and cost.
What is booklet (saddle-stitch) imposition?
It reorders the pages of your PDF and places them two-up per sheet so that, after printing double-sided and folding the stack in half, the pages read in the correct order, ready to staple along the spine.
How do I print it?
Print double-sided, flipping on the short edge, fold the stack in half, and staple the fold. Each output page is a landscape sheet holding two of your pages.
What if my PDF isn’t a multiple of 4 pages?
Saddle-stitch needs pages in multiples of 4, so blank pages are added at the end automatically to make it fold correctly.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The imposition runs entirely in your browser, your PDF never leaves your device.
Does it cost anything?
No, it is completely free, no signup.
